Create a Thumbnail by Taking a Screenshot
Published scenes commonly have thumbnails that represent the template they were created from. You probably recognize this thumbnail for the Default Lighting scene template.
Or this one for the Empty scene template.
These, however, are probably not the best representations of your scene. There is a way to create your own thumbnail by taking a screenshot of your scene.
At the top of the Entities panel, select your root-level entity, which has the name of your scene.
Navigate to the Inspector panel on the right. Expand the component on the top, which also matches your scene name.
Hover over the existing thumbnail.
Choose Browse to use an image from your computer, or Take a Screenshot to capture what you see in your canvas.
Note: If you choose Take a Screenshot, be sure you position your camera to frame your image to your liking.
Now publish and share your scene to see your thumbnail!
